HYUNDAI AUTO CANADA's limited new car warranty covers the listed items for 60 months or 100,000 KM (whichever occurs first) from the warranty registration date.
All original parts found to have a material or workmanship defect when used under normal conditions, provided routine maintenance has been performed on the car, except for items specifically warranted in another section of the HYUNDAI AUTO CANADA Corp. WARRANTY.
The following situations are not covered, unless otherwise stated in HYUNDAI AUTO CANADA CORP. policy or coverage:
Including inspection, tightening, adjustment, engine tune-up, fuel system adjustment, wheel alignment and balancing, cleaning, lubrication, oil changes, headlight aiming and tire rotation, as well as refilling fuel, engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, clutch fluid, power steering fluid, antifreeze, windshield washer fluid, and air-conditioning refrigerant.
Including spark plugs, wiper blades, fuses, worn brake and clutch linings, filters, bulbs, belts, tires, hoses, metal hardware, and other similar consumables.
•Neglect of the proper maintenance operations described in the owner's manual and this service passport.
•Misuse, accident, theft or fire.
•Use of parts other than genuine HYUNDAI parts.
•Modification, alteration, or improper repair.
•Device or accessory installed by parties other than HYUNDAI.
•Deterioration of rubber parts, trim, and upholstery as part of normal use and exposure.
•Minor irregularities not recognized as diminishing the quality or function of the vehicle, such as slight noises or slight vibrations, or elements considered characteristic of the vehicle.
Tires; Indirect damages: For example, fuel, telephone, travel and lodging expenses, as well as inconvenience, business and/or personal losses, and loss of use of the vehicle are not covered.
•Proper use, care, and maintenance of your vehicle in accordance with the instructions in this booklet and the owner's manual.
•Aluminum is subject to corrosion due to environmental conditions (Pay special attention to aluminum alloy wheels in winter. If you drive on salted roads, thoroughly clean the wheels afterward).
•Keeping a record of maintenance services. You may be asked to prove that the required maintenance has been performed.
•Presenting the vehicle during normal business hours to an authorized HYUNDAI dealer to obtain warranty service.
•Check for any appearance defects in exterior trim, paint, or otherwise at the time of new vehicle delivery.
•Care and upkeep of a functioning odometer so that total distance traveled can be readily determined.
Unless otherwise indicated, accessories installed by a HYUNDAI dealer are covered by a limited warranty of 36 months or 60,000 KM from the date of warranty registration, whichever comes first. If installation is performed after the warranty registration date, coverage will be for a period of 12 months from the date of installation, regardless of mileage, or for the remaining coverage of the 36‑month or 60,000 KM warranty, whichever provides the longer coverage.
All HYUNDAI accessories installed on a HYUNDAI vehicle for which they are intended and that exhibit defects in materials or workmanship when used and maintained normally.
“What Is Not Covered by the Warranty” and “Owner Responsibilities” are stipulated in the New Vehicle general information.
The HYUNDAI AUTO CANADA CORP. warranty for hybrid systems and plug-in hybrid systems (PHEV) covers the components described for a total of 96 months from the warranty registration date, or for 160,000 KM, whichever occurs first.

Hybrid drive battery, hybrid starter-generator, hybrid PCU module, automatic transmission, including traction motor, EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) cooling system.
Main hybrid drive battery (PHEV), auxiliary hybrid drive battery (PHEV), onboard charger (PHEV), radiator (PHEV), insulated fuel tank (PHEV), HSG hybrid starter-generator, hybrid PCU module, including traction motor, EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) cooling system.
